It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our neck of the woods:) Yeah! The snow made a big beautiful entrance this weekend and with Christmas being a week away, it made the Holiday that much more special. I love the snow; especially the first snow of the season. My kids love playing in the snow; making snowmen, sledding down the icy hill and having a snowball fight, it’s all part of the fun:)
I usually opt for my Puffer Coat when it gets super cold outside. I have to admit, this is the second one of this coat I have owned. I owned the previous version, but it was my go-to through a couple of my pregnancies and literally wore it out! To put it mildly, I love this coat. It keeps me toasty warm, is super light weight, has a cute belt that I can choose to wear or not, is extremely flattering and the best part for me is the sleeve length is perfect. I have long arms and it is hard to find Puffer Coats that are long enough in the sleeves for me. So, all my long arm friends out there; or those of you who like your sleeve length longer, this is definitely the coat for you! I even bought the kid’s version for one of my older daughters a couple of years ago, the coat held up so well I was able to pass it down to my younger daughter and it still looks beautiful. Now, that is an amazing deal to me!
I have a couple pairs of Hunter Boots in the mid and tall height and I love them, but I saw these shorter Hunter Boots and thought they were the most adorable little rain boot ever. It turns out they are super cute on! These shorter Hunter Boots are very comfortable, kept my feet dry and warm in the snow and they were so easy to run around in. They didn’t even feel like I was wearing a rain boot at all; with the kids chasing me with snow balls that was a must! I would highly recommend adding a pair of the Hunter Chelsea Rain Boots to your boot collection. These cute boots would also look great with a skirt, tights and a chunky sweater.
In the winter months I gravitate toward sweaters; chunky, soft, all different colors and types. I am new to the Madewell Brand. I have several friends who are constantly raving about it so, when I saw this sweater I knew it was time to try this Brand for myself. I have to say, I am now sold on Madewell. I like everything about this sweater. It is such a classic look with the oatmeal color, tall funnel neck, shaped hem and cable knit design I will be able to wear it for years to come!
Cheers to the first gorgeous snow of Winter and to a White Christmas!
