A simple way to add variety to your style is by mixing different textures. This could easily be said for patterns and colors as well. I love this Vince blouse. It is simple, elegant and very forgiving with its ease of wear. I always recommend to clients to have a few go-to pieces that are easy to wear, classic and most importantly pieces you feel amazing in, but take no effort at all to get ready. This is definitely one of those tops for me.
Because the weather is a little hit or miss right now and layering is a must, I chose to add a blazer. When wearing a more flowing top I often gravitate toward a more structured piece for layering to add definition to my waistline. I always have the option to take it off and feel very comfortable, but I like the idea of looking a little polished if I want to. One thing that drew me to this specific blazer was all the details. I love little details in clothing, they just speak to me! Even if you cannot see them from the outside; I know they are there and they make you feel just a little extra special;) In this specific blazer it has the sateen lapels, polka dot lining and red accents in the interior. So fun!
A style that I for some reason have always be drawn to is the boyfriend and girlfriend jeans. It is a trend that has become a staple in my wardrobe for too many years now to count. I often lean toward a very feminine top, accessories or shoes when wearing my boyfriend jeans, mostly because I like the aesthetic is creates. For this outfit I tucked in just the front of the blouse to create a little bit of a waistline and then added a beautiful leopard print belt. Again, I love adding details like that to an outfit. By starting to add little details in your own wardrobe you will start to create a signature style.
What small details do you add to your style that speaks to who you are?
